The playground will remain open even if the splashpad is closed. While the Town staff makes every effort to keep the splashpad in good condition, occasionally there are mechanical issues with the splashpad that force a closure for a period of time.

The splashpad may be closed at any time due to weather, maintenance or other operational concerns.Ĭhildcare businesses must make a pavilion reservation in advance of their visit by calling the Parks & Recreation Department at 86. No skateboards, bicycles, athletic equipment, rollerblades, balls or swimming pool toys are allowed in the splashpad area.ĭogs/pets are not allowed in the splashpad or playground areas, except for service animals. For your safety, please do not drink the water.ĭo not climb, hang, swing or pull on any of the splashpad equipment.ĭo not change diapers on or near the splashpad. Water in the splashpad is chlorinated and recirculates through a filtration system. (See info below about organized group reservations.) Summer camps and daycares need to reserve a pavilion so that there is adequate space for other splashpad users. Most importantly, have fun and make it a splash! While the water features keep the play area cool, the surrounding sidewalk and surfaces of the playground are very hot on uncovered little feet. It’s a good idea to wear water shoes or have flips flops nearby. Make sure to bring plenty of sunscreen as there is limited shade available at the splashpad. Please come to the park expecting to take a short walk to the splashpad. Illegally parked cars will be subject to towing. Please do not park along the roadway or in the grass. We ask that all splashpad visitors park in the lower parking lot at the entrance of McFee Park and use the crosswalk to access the greenway up to the splash pad. There is very limited parking available beside the splashpad. Please understand that when you rent a pavilion at McFee Park, you are not renting the splashpad, and we cannot guarantee the splashpad will be running.
The splashpad may close daily from 2 to 3 p.m. The splashpad is open through the last weekend in September from 10 a.m. In the event of an emergency, call 911 the splashpad address is 917 McFee Road, Farragut, Tenn. at 86 or during evenings/weekends at 86 or 86. If the splashpad is not working properly or other problems arise, please contact the Parks & Recreation Department weekdays from 8 a.m. The expanded McFee Park splashpad opened in June 2016, making it the largest public splashpad in the greater Knoxville area! The splashpad has a nature theme and includes unique spray elements such as flowers, animals, geysers, misters and a water journey labyrinth area with creeks, flood plains and cascades perfect for toddlers. The McFee Park Splashpad is now open for the season!
